Fast Eddy's Championship Cooking Class

The Fast Eddy's Championship Cooking Class is an intensive hands-on event that guides students through the maze of selecting cuts of meat, marinades, rubs, smoking woods and smoking techniques.

Students learn to prepare ribs, brisket, chicken and pork and how to smoke-cook them in the Fast Eddy’s by Cookshack pits provided by event sponsor Cookshack, Inc. The class is taught by barbecue champions Ed Maurin, and inventor of Fast Eddy's by Cookshack smokers, and David Bouska, Butcher BBQ Team.

Join class graduates who have gone on to win Grand Championships at the Jack Daniels Invitational Barbecue Contest, the Houston Livestock & Rodeo World Championship Barbecue contest, the American Royal Barbecue contest, and state championships too numerous to list!

This annual class is held every December at Cookshack headquarters in Ponca City, OK. It is always a sold-out class, so please contact Ed Powell at 1-800-423-0698 as early as possible.

9am – 1pm Kansas City Barbeque Society Certified BBQ Judging Class (optional). Registration begins at 8:30am.
6pm – Dinner with Cookshack

"Thanks to all of you for a most enjoyable and informative weekend!  Kathy and I were most impressed by everything that we were exposed to.  It's going to take awhile for it all to sink into my thick head but I know I learned a bunch.  I'm so looking forward to firing this unit up and getting after it.

We are still trying to get information on trailers to see which direction we go there but hope to be up and running by mid-2009 and you all will have played a major part in that. I would like information on the  CVap when you start selling that as well... Thanks again for everything!  You all are wonderful and I've been singin' your praises to all that I talk with."
